We are the Pacific Islander Community Association of Washington

We are a community-based nonprofit by Pacific Islanders for Pacific Islanders.

What we do:

Our mission is to establish a cultural home, center community power, and advocate to the further the wellness of our Pacific Islander communities physically, culturally, socially, and spiritually.

In order to achieve this mission, our work centers around providing direct community support paired with systems advocacy that is guided by Pacific Islander values and priorities.

Cultural Weavers

Elders engagement program providing space for social connection, cultural practice, and healthy wellbeing.

Pasifika Food Networks

Food distribution program aiming to supplement our families facing food insecurity.

Pasifika Village Council

Coalition of Pacific Islander leaders across the state leading advocacy efforts on behalf of our communities.

Wellness Navigation

Direct support in navigating systems and accessing services to address social determinants of health.

Youth Navigation

Services and in-house programs to help our young people get set up for a healthy, positive, and culturally-grounded future.

We are partnering with Hummingbird Indigenous Family Services to refer Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander families to the first guaranteed income program to exclusively serve Indigenous communities in the United States.
